One of the better Star Alliance carriers, SWISS, is currently offering an incredible Business Class fare for travel between Sweden and Bangkok for travel deep into next year. If you can position yourself to Stockholm (or if you happen to live in Stockholm), you can currently fly SWISS Business Class to Bangkok via Zurich on fares starting at around $1,123. That's a price that's unlikely to be bettered any time soon.

Lufthansa Group (which includes Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, and Brussels Airlines) has today announced that while passengers are currently expected to wear masks that cover their mouth and nose during boarding, during the flight, and during disembarkation, as of next month most face covering will no longer be in compliance with the Group's policies.

When it comes to general program rules and knowing how and when to use various loyalty currencies I'm more than comfortable left to my own devices but, every now and again I encounter something that makes me stop, think and wonder if what I'm looking at is a glitch, an oddity or a program's feature that I didn't know about.

SWISS' 777-300ER aircraft are, more often than not, scheduled to operate on some of the airline's more premium long-haul routes out of Switzerland. Los Angeles and Hong are just two of the far-flung destinations that SWISS' ten 777 aircraft serve but, for a brief period this summer, SWISS will be flying a 777 a lot closer to home.

A number of the Lufthansa Group airlines are currently offering a very attractive sub $1,700 roundtrip fare for travel between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Bangkok. The primary airlines involved are SWISS and Lufthansa but flights are also available on Austrian Airlines at select times of the year.

The Lufthansa Group of airlines are announcing their figures for 2018 today and SWISS has used its presentation to announce that it will be introducing a Premium Economy cabin on its long-haul aircraft starting in 2021.

In the same way that the Boeing 747 is out of date and largely uneconomical so is the Airbus A340....so it was more than a little surprising when SWISS reversed a decision to retire its five A340s and, instead, refurbish them and give them a new lease of life.

A number of Star Alliance airlines are currently offering attractive prices on Business Class fares for travel between Nice and Beijing. These fares are readily available and the travel dates span the next 11 months so finding a fare that works for you shouldn't be a problem.

Scandinavia has been the starting point for quite a few good Business Class deals recently (like the great fares to the US West Coast and Qatar Airways' Business Class fares to Asia) and now Star Alliance has joined the party by posting some very good Business Class fares out of Scandinavia for travel to China.

Right now SWISS and Lufthansa are offering some very attractive Business Class fares between London and New Delhi and, considering how respected SWISS' Business Class offering is (Lufthansa less so) these fares are very tempting indeed.
