Miles & Points Sale

Virgin Atlantic's has brought back the best points sale that we've ever seen it run and that means that for the next few weeks, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club members can buy points from 0.89 pence each (UK accounts) or from 1.48 cents each (US accounts).

British Airways is running another Avios sale and as we have seen in the past, it's offering a bonus of up to 50% on Avios purchases as long as they're completed by the end of the day on 19 December 2022.

United Airlines is back with what appears to be another targeted mileage sale in which it's offering select MileagePlus members a 100% bonus when they purchase a minimum of 50,000 miles. This sale sees United selling its miles from approximately 1.88 cents each so if you have a need to top up an account, that may not be a bad price point at which to do that.

Flying Blue is running a new mileage sale in which it has brought back the very best bonus that we have ever seen the program offer when selling miles. A lot of Flying Blue members appear to have been targeted for a 100% bonus, but a fortunate few, a bonus of 120% awaits.

The latest American Airlines mileage sale is offering flyers a discount of up to 50% on the regular price of miles and while this isn't (by any stretch of the imagination) a particularly amazing sale, miles purchased at 1.88 cents can have their uses. Sadly, you have just hours left to decide if this sale can save you some cash.

Hilton's current points sale is offering bonuses of up to 100% with points on sale for as little as 0.5 cents each (as usual). In total, 320,000 points can be purchased in this sale, but you only have until tomorrow to top up an account if you haven't done so already.

IHG One Rewards has brought back the very best version of its points sale in which it's possible to buy up to 500,000 points at just 0.5 cents each. This sale may be targeted so it's possible that not everyone reading this will have access to the deal that's discussed below.

Alaska's Mileage Plan program has launched a new mileage sale in which it's offering members the chance to buy miles with a bonus of up to 50% thrown in. Sadly, not only is this no longer one of the best mileage sales that we see Alaska Airlines publish, but there's also at least one further reason why most people should probably be avoiding this sale.

Aer Lingus is running a flash Avios sale in which it's offering bonuses of up to 50% for Avios purchases made through 14 November (Monday). The price you'll pay per Avios will vary depending on how many Avios you buy and where your Aer Lingus Aer Club account is based but that doesn't take away from the fact that for some people, there could be a good deal here.

Marriott has launched a new points sale that will run for most of what is left of this year but for a couple of reasons, most Bonvoy members should probably be keeping their credit cards in their pockets and ignoring Marriott's latest effort to part them from their money.
