Priority Pass

In a move that's more than a little surprising, four British Airways lounges in the United States have joined the Priority Pass program and can now be accessed by holders of a wide variety of US-issued credit cards.

Priority Pass has launched this year’s Black Friday sale with a lot less fanfare than in previous years and as usual, you have to be careful which links you use to find the best deals. This year you can get up to 50% off Standard membership, up to 35% off Standard Plus membership, and up to 15% off Prestige membership, and I'll show you how in the post below.

In a move that has clearly been made to address (at least in part) the lack of Priority Pass lounges at Heathrow T2 as quickly as possible, Priority Pass has signed up a restaurant at the terminal at which holders of select Priority Pass memberships can enjoy a credit towards whatever they choose to spend.

The Priority Pass Black Friday deals are here again but, just as we saw last year, you'll have to be careful which deal you choose to go for as the headline Black Friday deal is not the best deal for all membership levels. If you know where to look (and I'll show you), you'll find that there are two other very good deals on offer that beat the Black Friday sale that Priority Pass is currently promoting.

It's probably not an exaggeration to suggest that the number of people buying Priority Pass memberships has plummeted in recent months while a lot of people remain grounded and unable to travel. That's why it's not much of a surprise to see Priority Pass offering some interesting deals which, on a price per month basis, are better than any other Priority Pass deal I've seen in the past few years...and that includes last year's Black Friday sale.

With more and more people returning to the skies, Priority Pass has now published details of the guidance it is issuing to the lounges in its network as it tries to ensure that the necessary steps are taken to keep staff and passengers safe. Over the past few years Priority Pass has been adding airport restaurants to its portfolio in locations where it has found it challenging to get access to more lounge space and, at these restaurants, Priority Pass members can use their lounge visit entitlement to receive a cash amount towards any food or drinks they purchase.

Ok, I'm not sure why this is possible but select links to the Priority Pass membership pages are still offering the 2019 Black Friday pricing for all levels of membership. With discounts of between 20% and 40% on offer, this may be a good time to check if a Priority Pass membership makes sense for you.

London Heathrow Terminal 3 is home to most of the oneworld airlines (American Airlines, Qantas, JAL, Cathay Pacific, etc...) as well as to airlines such as Delta, Virgin Atlantic, and Emirates....and it's even the terminal that British Airways uses for the flights that it can't fit into its T5 home.
