Chase has brought back an offer that I last recall seeing back in November so it is currently targeting select cardholders for up to $57 of savings on a future Marriott Bonvoy stay. Unfortunately, the offer is only valid for a relatively short period of time and so will only be useful to those who have an upcoming stay or who can somehow book a prepaid rate that gets charged to their card within the offer period.

The offer

Earn 10% back on your Marriott Bonvoy stay when you spend $100 or more. A maximum rebate of $57 is available with this offer.

Key Terms

  • Offer expires 20 February 2023
  • Offer can be used one time only.
  • Booking and payment must be made directly with Marriott (3rd party bookings will not trigger the rebate).
  • The maximum rebate is $57

Full terms and conditions can be found on the targeted offer.

Quick Thoughts

I’ve only had this offer targeted to my Chase Ink Business Preferred® credit card (review) so as it’s not appearing on my Ritz-Carlton card (which is no longer open to new applicants) or on any other of my Chase consumer cards, there’s a chance that this is an offer aimed at holders of Chase’s Business cards only. Hopefully this isn’t the case, but be aware that it may be.

On a more positive note, there doesn’t appear to be any wording associated with this offer that restricts its use to domestic Marriott properties so as the offer specifically states that it’s valid at “all Marriott Bonvoy brands”, any Marriott spending worldwide that’s paid for using a card to which this offer has been saved *should* trigger a rebate.

Regardless of which card you have this offer targeted to, make sure you consider what earning rates your other cards are offering you as it may make sense to split your spending across two cards (if possible) to maximize your earnings.

Bottom Line

Chase has published a targeted offer for Marriott bookings that are paid for by 20 February 2023. The offer sees spending of $100 or more rewarded with a 10% rebate with the maximum rebate set at $57.

Have you been targeted for this offer? If you have, what card(s) are you seeing it on?
