British Airways appears to be pushing through some big changes to its loyalty program today and because we haven't yet had a public announcement from the airline, it's not yet clear what all the changes will look like.

United Airlines is back with what appears to be another targeted mileage sale in which it's offering select MileagePlus members a 100% bonus when they purchase a minimum of 50,000 miles. This sale sees United selling its miles from approximately 1.88 cents each so if you have a need to top up an account, that may not be a bad price point at which to do that.

Flying Blue, the loyalty program for Air France and KLM, has had a partnership with Accor's ALL program for some time and in the past few hours, that partnership has got a little bit more interesting as the ratio in which Accor points transfer across to Flying Blue was improved significantly.

Flying Blue is running a new mileage sale in which it has brought back the very best bonus that we have ever seen the program offer when selling miles. A lot of Flying Blue members appear to have been targeted for a 100% bonus, but a fortunate few, a bonus of 120% awaits.

Alaska Airlines is predominantly a west coast airline and as such, we often see it targeting some of its better offers at the California market. The airline's latest offer is no different as it is specifically targeting California-based flyers for a fast track to elite status when they fly select coast-to-coast routes.

As we enter the last couple of days of the registration period for a promotion that gives AAdvantage elite flyers free World of Hyatt status (see here), a new promotion seems to be appearing in select American Airlines accounts that's offering World of Hyatt elites free (but temporary) American Airlines elite status.

United Airlines has launched a Cyber Monday award sale in which it's offering up to 50% off Economy Class awards to Europe, Asia and Australia for holders of its co-branded credit cards and its premier elite members.

Since the end of August, Hyatt has been running a pretty good promotion for American Airlines flyers in which it's offering automatic (limited-time) elite status in the World of Hyatt program and a chance for flyers then to boost that status through stays. The promotion still has over 3 months to run, but registration closes in just 2 days' time.

It's the middle of the month and that means that Singapore Airlines has published its latest set of KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes deals and, frankly, the airline may as well not have bothered. I didn't think that the airline could offer fewer deals than it did in its last two sets of Spontaneous Escapes but I've just been proven very, very wrong. Read on only if you're ready for serious disappointment.

Alaska's Mileage Plan program has launched a new mileage sale in which it's offering members the chance to buy miles with a bonus of up to 50% thrown in. Sadly, not only is this no longer one of the best mileage sales that we see Alaska Airlines publish, but there's also at least one further reason why most people should probably be avoiding this sale.
